You know the building you sold. Send the SmartBuild job, quote, layout, truss package, or sketch you already have. We’ll coordinate the structural drafting, engineering review, revisions, and final plan set as one job.
The building’s intended use matters. A barndominium may carry ceilings, interior walls, attic storage, mechanical equipment, and occupancy loads that don’t apply to a basic agricultural shell.
Tell us how the building will be used. We’ll help keep the structural plan scope tied to that use.
If the job changes, tell us before the plans get too far. A loft, ceiling, interior wall, overhead door, attic load, or equipment change may affect the load path and structural details.
The quoted plan scope may show:
The exact work will be listed in the quote.
We can place your interior wall layout on the plan set when it is included in the quote. Give us the room sizes and wall locations.
We don’t plan the rooms for you. We don’t design the inside. We don’t place cabinets or appliances. We don’t place furniture, finishes, or decor.
Send the current SmartBuild job and the site address. The model gives us a strong place to start and can cut down on repeated questions.
The SmartBuild job is project input, not a sealed structural plan. We use its building geometry, openings, roof layout, and project data to establish the drafting and licensed-review scope. SmartBuild Systems and StruxSure Plans are separate companies and working partners.
Send the building use, dimensions, wall height, roof layout, openings, site address, and current project files.
We’ll define the structural scope, quote the work, and list any missing design criteria or supplier information.
We keep the structural draft, truss package, design questions, revisions, and licensed engineer review tied to one current job.
The licensed engineer reviews and seals the structural work. We deliver the plan set included in your quote, ready for permit review.
We speak up when a connection or framing detail may be difficult to build, needlessly heavy, hard to source, or out of step with your system. When there may be a more practical path, we coordinate value-engineering options with the licensed engineer.
If the truss package doesn’t match the model, or a revision may affect materials, concrete, labor, or schedule, we flag it early.
That doesn’t mean we take over the building. It means we care whether our part fits the job you plan to build.
Send the building use, size, wall height, roof pitch, door sizes, site address, and any SmartBuild job, supplier quote, sketch, or old plan you have.
Yes. Drafting is part of the full structural plan job. We coordinate the structural draft and licensed engineer review under one scope instead of selling them as separate services.
Yes. Send the current truss drawings, truss placement diagram, and design reactions when available. We’ll coordinate them with the quoted structural scope.
Yes, when included in the quote. Give us the wall locations and room sizes you want. We can draft that supplied layout, but we don’t design the rooms or place cabinets and appliances.
No. We prepare the structural set for permit review, but the local building department makes the final decision.
SmartBuild model, clean plans, supplier quote, or a sketch from the truck. We’ll tell you what comes next.
